Upper School Celebrates St. Nicolas Day

Upper School students, faculty, and staff shared in the annual tradition of St. Nicolas Day on Wednesday thanks to some holiday "Elves" in the French Honor Society. St. Nicolas Day is celebrated in France and other parts of Europe on December 6th.  St Nicolas, who typically travels by donkey, places treats (or coal) in shoes left out overnight for him.  In place of St. Nicolas and his donkey, the elves of Mrs. Chamber's French 2 class, clad in red hats, placed a wrapped cake or cookie in each left shoe placed outside of each classroom or office during the afternoon. Joyeux Noël!
