  • Middle School Extended Day

After School at ICS will give students in grades 6-8 additional opportunities to make connections and build community through unstructured social time with their peers.  The ICS experience will extend our beliefs in the importance of the “three As” – Academics, Arts, and Athletics – in a format that will provide engagement, enrichment, and fun!  Students will be able to choose their after-school activities daily in a safe environment under the care of ICS faculty and staff.

    Structured Programming:
Academics: Students will gather to work on homework, projects, or study for tests.  National Honor Society students can be available for tutoring.

Arts: Students will gather to socialize and express themselves through arts and crafts.

Athletics: Students will have the opportunity to participate in daily activities that keep them moving, or they can choose cheer on their classmates by watching our MS and US sports teams compete.  Spaces used may include the fields, gym, playground, or dome (all based on availability).

    Details:
    Monday through Friday:
    3:20 – 3:45 p.m. – Snack time in cafeteria
    3:45 – 5:00 p.m. – Structured Programming (3 As)
    5:00 – 6:00 p.m. – Supervised care

As providing a safe, supervised opportunity for middle school students to unwind and socialize in a less structured format is important to building community, there are no additional fees for Middle School After Care.
  • Grades 9 - 12 After School

The campus is open to students in Grades 9 -12 from 7:30a.m. to 6:00p.m. After the academic day ends at 3:30, students may choose to stay on campus to participate in after school sports or a wide variety of other after school activities including occasional club meetings, individual and collaborative work in the Vos Academic Resource Center, spending time with friends on the front patio or in the student lounge, meeting with a teacher for extra help on an assignment, or cheering on their friends in sports. Students will self-dismiss from after school activities. If students do not have an afterschool commitment on campus, they may dismiss at 3:30 when the academic day ends.
  • Athletic Offerings

Indian Creek offers athletic teams for students grade 6 -12. Student athletic teams are offered during the fall, winter, and spring seasons.  Click here to learn more!
  • Music Lessons

To further Indian Creek School’s commitment to providing transformative experiences for every student, we are thrilled to introduce our highly-anticipated after school music lesson program.  This after school initiative will give students in grades 1 – 12 the opportunity to enhance their performing arts skills and interests through individual or small group lessons.  This program will also make it easier for parents!  Instead of driving to multiple locations for music lessons, sports, and more, you can now participate in all of these right here on campus!  Play a sport at ICS, then when practice is over, come inside for a piano lesson or enjoy a snack and finish your homework in ICS After Care, swing by for a trumpet lesson, then check back into After Care to play on the playground...all here at ICS! • Dance Team

Our dance team is open to all students in grades 6 – 12.  On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, students of all ages and levels will participate as Company Dancers in technique classes and choreography rehearsals.  Dance rehearsals will take place after school during Upper School sports hours from 3:45-5:30 p.m. for all students.
