Indian Creek’s interscholastic athletics program promotes personal growth – and provides opportunities for students to be a part of a team while developing the skills necessary for future high level play.
In grades 6-8, every student has the opportunity to contribute to a team according to his or her level of commitment. Our program is designed to instill a lifelong interest in physical fitness in an inclusive and positive environment, regardless of ability, past experience, or background in sports. Sixth through eighth grade teams participate in the Chesapeake Scheduling Co-op which consists of local independent schools in and around Anne Arundel County. We limit practices to two or three days per week to allow students time to pursue other interests.
If your student is interested in registering for fall Cross Country, Soccer, or Field Hockey, please take a moment to read the "Athletic Agreement" at the link below. All students in grades 6-8 interested in participating on one or more of our school teams must have read, agreed to and submitted this form to be eligible for participation in the upcoming school year. More information on fall athletics will be sent to enrolled families over the summer. If you have any questions about our program, please contact Athletic Director Troy Evans,
Indian Creek senior Reese Fortier has many markers of personal success — outstanding student, senior class president, captain of the Eagles’ volleyball team and yearbook editor, just to name a few — but it is her impact on others at Indian Creek that separates her as an influential member of her school community.
