What does it mean to be an Eagles Athlete?

At Indian Creek, we see athletic competition as the means to many ends – foremost among them being the character-based qualities of sportsmanship, integrity, commitment, and a desire for individual improvement. Our coaches build mutually respectful relationships with students, upholding high expectations for hard work, dedication, and a positive attitude.

Varsity and JV Athletes take athletic competition and competition seriously, with a priority on personal growth and development. The Indian Creek Eagles participate in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (boys’ teams) and the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland (girls’ teams).

“To me, being an Eagles Athlete meant that every time I put on my uniform, I became a part of something bigger than myself. I was inspired by my teammates and coaches to stretch beyond my comfort zone and accomplish more than I ever thought possible. Being an Indian Creek Eagle means that you have a family – teammates you can count on both on and off the field. Because I was an Eagle, I am confident that I am ready to be a valuable member of my college team next year.”
