List of 5 frequently asked questions.

  • What should campers wear?

Because Maryland is hot and humid during the summer, campers should wear comfortable, light-weight clothes, and shoes in which they are comfortable running and playing. They may wish to bring a sweater or sweatshirt with them as the air conditioning can be cool in the building.

Students in certain specialty programs may have additional clothing or equipment requirements.
  • How does ICS Summer Programs handle changes and refunds?

    • Any changes made to your registration BEFORE May 1 will be refunded except the non-refundable deposit.
    • If any withdrawal requests are made BETWEEN May 1 and the start of camp, any camp fees that have been paid, excluding the non-refundable deposit, will be held on your account. These funds may be applied to future registrations for up to one year.
    • Once summer begins, any changes to registration must be made two weeks prior to the start of the enrolled session in order to receive a credit, which must be used by the following summer season.
    • Any refund or credit request must be in writing.
    • All refund and credit requests are subject to the discretion of the Program Director.
  • Are lunch or snacks provided?

Campers need to bring their own lunch and snacks each day for summer 2026.  Lunches are not provided.

Your child should bring snacks for morning and afternoon each day.  Please also bring a water bottle.

Snacks are ONLY included during After Camp Care.
  • Do I need to notify ICS if my child will be absent?

    • While it is not required, we do appreciate notice if a child will be absent so teachers can plan ahead. You may call or email to let us know about an absence or early pick-up.
    • Please note: If your child’s program is going on a field trip you must arrive by the time of departure. If you arrive late and miss the departure time your camper will not be allowed to stay as there is no childcare provided. Notice and information about field trip dates and times will be emailed home at least one week prior.
  • Does ICS offer transportation for the summer?

Yes!  New for 2026, transportation is available for Indian Creek School Summer Camps. Details to be provided closer to summer. Click here for more information about our transportation options.
