Whitaker Willocks

Whit Willocks loves people, and she loves schools that produce great people. This passion drew her to ICS and makes her a perfect addition to the Advancement team, where she will focus on constituent engagement and alumni relations.

Whit comes to ICS from Kimball Union Academy, in Meriden, New Hampshire, where she served as the Associate Director of Admission. Prior to this she has worked as the Assistant Director of College Advising at Kimball, and as the Director of Events & Programs at the Association of Independent School Admission Professionals.

Lacrosse is a big part of Whit’s life, as well. In 2017, Whit founded ECHO Lacosse Club, a boys and Girls Club serving children in grades 3rd - 12th, and has since served as the owner and Director, growing the game in New Hampshire and Vermont. She has served as a Board Member and Head Coach at Empower Lacrosse Club, Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Dartmouth College, Co-Head Coach for the Under Armour All-American New England Team, and Assistant Varsity Coach at Andover High School.

Whit is also a passionate advocate for female athletes, having served as Assistant Director and Panelist on the Young Women in Sports Foundation and speaking at events on behalf of the One Love Foundation nationwide.

Whit holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in education administration from the University of Virginia, as well. During her time at UVA, Whit was a member of the women’s lacrosse team from 2005-2010 and captained the team in 2010.

We welcome Whit, her husband, James, and their children Charlie ’34 and Bo to the ICS community!
