Indian Creek Baseball Opening Day & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Join us for Opening Day on the New Eagles Baseball Field!!!  Come and celebrate with our Eagles Baseball team, as they play their first game on our new home fields. This celebration will include a ribbon cutting ceremony for the field and other festivities. Opening ceremonies will be followed by the first home game of the season.

Jeno’s Steaks food truck will be on-site, selling Nathan’s hot dogs, cheesesteaks, fries and more, plus drinks. The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown out by Ryan Selmer who was drafted in the 31st round by the Mets and is currently playing for the Kingsport Mets, and Matt Selmer, Jr., a pitcher that was chosen to play in the Brooks Robinson All Star Game played at Memorial Stadium.

The festivities will start at 3:45 and the schedule is below:
3:45 p.m. National Anthem
3:50 p.m. Ribbon cutting then First Pitch
4:00 p.m. Play Ball!

The Eagles Mascot will be out, playing games and keeping folks entertained between innings with some fun activities. This game will be fun for Lower School children as well! Come watch a game, eat dinner, and then head home with some ICS school spirit at this historic family event!
