On Friday, October 12, we celebrate all things Indian Creek at CREEKfest 2018! Fun activities are planned for all. 

Purchase a CREEKfest shirt for just $15 or save $5 by purchasing an Earlybird Combo ticket for a
T-shirt and Wristband (which gives access to CREEKfest games, inflatables, rides, and the rock wall) together by September 21 for the special rate of $25. (Shirts and wristbands will be on sale after this date at regular price through CREEKfest or as supplies allow.) Click here for a t-shirt and wristband order form.

CREEKfest 2018 SCHEDULE
 
Pre-K & Kindergarten
  • 11:00 - 11:30 a.m.: Pep Rally on the Lower School Tot Lot with members of the SGA.
  • 1:00 p.m.: Lower School academic day ends.
  • 1:00 - 1:30 p.m.:  Carpool pickup for Pre-K and Kindergarten. We have planned for Kids After Hours (KAH) to provide care for any Pre-K or Kindergarten student needing to stay past 1:00 p.m. at no additional cost until 6 p.m., at the Lower School. There is no bus service home this afternoon.  All Lower School students need to turn in a CREEKfest dismissal form by Wednesday, October 3.
  • 1:30 - 3:00 p.m.: Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the Upper School to watch the Spirit Parade & Pep Rally. 
  • 3:00 - 6:30 p.m.: Rides, inflatables, carnival games. Food, and Homecoming games all afternoon and evening.
  • 6:40 p.m.: Road closes for Fireworks
  • 6:55 p.m.: Fireworks
Grades 1 - 6
  • 1:00 p.m.: Students in grades 1 - 6 board buses to Upper School.
  • 1:30 - 3:00 p.m.: Spirit Parade & Pep Rally at Eagles Athletic Complex - Parents welcome!
  • 3:00 p.m.: Dismissal: Parents are to pick up their children from their teachers at the Eagles Athletic Complex. We have planned for Kids After Hours (KAH) to provide care for any student in grades 1-6 needing to stay past 3:30 p.m. at no additional cost until 6:00pm, at the Upper School. KAH will be set up in the building with activities for the kids. Please park and enter through the main entrance to pick up your child. All students in grades 1 - 6 grade will be picked up at the Upper School. No buses will return to the Lower School. There is no bus service home this afternoon. All Lower School students need to turn in a CREEKfest dismissal form by Wednesday, October 3.

Grades 7 - 12

Grades 7 & 8: Students are required to stay at the school until 3:30 p.m. Students are encouraged to enjoy the festival. Parents, please let your child know when and where you will be picking them up from CREEKfest.
 
Grades 9-12: Students are required to stay at the school until 3:30 p.m. Students are highly encouraged to volunteer at CREEKfest to earn service hours.
There is no bus service home this afternoon.

Things you need to know:
  • Lunch will be served on both campuses prior to activities.
  • Parents are encouraged to come for the Spirit Parade and Pep Rally starting at 1:30 p.m. at the Eagles Athletic Complex
  • CREEKfest is held at the Upper School Campus, 1130 Anne Chambers Way in Crownsville
  • Creeker Canteen will be selling food all afternoon and evening including snacks, dinner, and dessert. Cash or check.
  • There will be a used uniform sale and Creek spirit wear for sale. Cash or check.  (*Note: Please drop off old uniforms in the coming weeks to either campus to contribute to the sale.)
  • Wristbands needed for carnival games and rides.

Parking Information
  • Free parking and shuttle buses from Renaissance Festival Parking lot to ICS.
  • Shuttle runs from 1:15 p.m. until the last car leaves.
  • The driveway to the Upper School will be closed 15 minutes prior to the Fireworks and stay closed until they have ended (approximately 6:40 p.m. to 7:05 p.m).
