  • Senior Spotlight: Sarah Hawes

    Years of hard work and dedication to pursuing her academic passions paid off this week, as Sarah Hawes committed to study at Cornell University's College of Engineering next year. While she is currently planning to major in electrical and computer engineering at Cornell, Hawes remains open-minded and looks forward to explore other STEM fields. Her experience at Indian Creek has shown her that she can achieve her goals through diligent work with teachers passionate to see their students succeed.

    The Indian Creek community has had the privilege of witnessing senior Wesley Beann evolve from a reserved freshman to a confident senior, ready to take on college and the world. Through his years at ICS, Beann has pursued both passions and responsibilities, playing drums in the band and managing the boys basketball team, all while excelling academically.
  • We're Back! Eagles Basketball to Begin Competitive Play

    Athletic Director Tyler Larkin has announced that the Eagles Basketball program has opted in to begin competitive interscholastic play this season.
  • Senior Spotlight: Levi Kline

    Levi Kline has been at ICS for 13 years. He cites AP Biology with Mrs. Roth as his favorite subject and said it has inspired his potential area of study in college. Kline is an integral member of the Eagles’ Varsity boys soccer team and made two penalty-shootout saves in Creek’s MIAA championship win last fall. He also plays lacrosse and tennis and is a black belt in taekwondo.
  • Senior Spotlight: Olivia Boucher

    Olivia Boucher will graduate in the spring with 13 AP credits and a passion for life sciences and art, as well as the title of captain of the Eagles Varsity Sailing team. “ICS has created an academic environment where I can pursue each of my areas of interest,” said Boucher. “I’ve taken BLincs in aquatic biology/ecology, and by the time I graduate will have also taken both AP Environmental and AP Biology. It’s really shaped what I want to study further and has allowed me to learn more about how the environment and its organisms function.”

  • Senior Spotlight: Rex Flanagan

    Rex Flanagan ’21 found his academic passion at Indian Creek School. Rex will pursue studies in Cyber Security or Data Analytics at Mount St. Mary’s University, where he has also signed to play Division I soccer.  “I came to Indian Creek as a freshman, and it’s just a great community,” said Flanagan. “The teachers are very interactive with the students, and it’s just a great place and community of people.”

    STEM Guest Lecturer Mr. Casey Corkin gave ICS students an inside peek into the professional possibilities and discoveries created through the fields of Aerospace Engineering, Information Technology, and Data Science.
