Dear ICS Families,

Indian Creek School is pleased to announce the return of campus dining, transportation, and extended day programming for the 2021-22 school year. While health and safety concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated a pause on these programs this year, the ICS administration has planned for the return of these auxiliary programs in formats that will best serve our Pre-K through grade 12 school community.

An overview of Indian Creek’s 2021-22 Auxiliary Program plans were shared through a Creek Conversation in February. Additional details are available on the Campus Life section of the ICS website and below.

Campus Dining
We are excited to continue our partnership with SAGE Dining to provide exceptional dining experiences for all students, PK-12. SAGE prides itself on providing lunches made from fresh ingredients sourced from local farmers and vendors. Families may explore the Indian Creek page on the SAGE website to learn more about lunch service at ICS and to view nutrition/allergen information. The dining fee of $875 is optional and covers lunches for the full academic year.

Transportation
For the 2021-22 school year, Indian Creek will offer morning bus service to K-12 students. Students will be picked up at cluster stops in Anne Arundel and Prince George’s county and driven to school on ICS minibuses, driven by ICS employees. (2021-22 bus stops will be located in the Severna Park Shopping Center, Odenton Shopping Center, Annapolis Harbor Center, Bowie Town Center, and Rte. 197.) This optional, fee-based service will offer our families value and flexibility when transporting their children to school.

Bus fees are annual and cover every school day for the 2021-22 academic year:
•    One student: $2,000
•    Additional student(s): $1,750 per student

Extended Day Care
Indian Creek offers students of all ages a variety of extended day enrichment activities as well as unstructured time for children to relax and socialize with their peers. Arts, athletics, academics, and extra-curricular options are available in a safe, supervised environment.

Lower School Extended Day
Morning Care is available for PK-Grade 5 students who arrive between 7:00 - 8:15 a.m. There are 3 plan options available:
•    Plan A (more than 3 days per week): $1,500/year
•    Plan B (3 days or less per week): $900/year

After Care for Pre-K through Grade 5 runs from 3:15 - 6:00 p.m. Students will be grouped according to grade. Each group will have its own home base for gathering. There will be time for structured and unstructured activities including enrichment opportunities. There are three plan options available:
•    Plan A: (more than 3 days/week): $2,500/year
•    Plan B: (3 days or less per week): $1,500/year
•    Plan C: (Occasional use): $15 per student, per day

Please contact Phae Mills with any questions about Lower School Extended Day.

Middle School Extended Day
Middle School Before School supervision is available daily from 7:00 – 8:15 a.m. and After Care is available daily from 3:15 – 6:00 p.m.

After School at ICS will give students in grades 6-8 additional opportunities to make connections and build community through unstructured social time with their peers. The ICS experience will extend our beliefs in the importance of the “three As” – Academics, Arts, and Athletics – in a format that will provide engagement, enrichment, and fun! Students will be able to choose their after-school activities daily in a safe environment under the care of ICS faculty and staff.

Students may attend Middle School Before and After Care as needed without contracting for the service, and there is no additional fee. Please contact Carol Mercer with questions about the Middle School After School at ICS program.

We are pleased to provide these services on campus once again. Again, for our planning purposes, we ask that families register for dining, transportation, and Lower School Extended Day through this link by May 31, 2021.
