The Indian Creek School community loves to come together to celebrate, connect, and have fun! In addition to daily enjoyment of school events, Creek enjoys several all-community events, from our annual CREEKfest Fall Festival/Homecoming Celebration, to Golf Tournaments, 5K Races, and a Spring Gala, and more! All ICS events can be found on the school calendar.

Mark your calendars! Our Second Annual Rooted & Rising Community Event is coming up on Saturday, May 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Rooted & Rising is a vibrant community market celebrating minority-owned businesses, student entrepreneurs, and environmental nonprofits. It’s a meaningful and energizing way to come together, support local changemakers, and spend time together as a school community.
What to expect:
• A marketplace featuring local Black- and-Brown owned businesses and student entrepreneurs
• Interactive booths and demonstrations from environmental nonprofits
• Hands-on activities like making a birdfeeder to take home
• Help decorate a rain barrel (one guest will win it in a raffle!)
• Music, playground time for kids, and space to picnic
• Rooted & Rising tote bags available for purchase
Bring a picnic blanket, grab lunch, and stay awhile. In case of rain, the event will move indoors.

Indian Creek School
Indian Creek school is a co-educational, college preparatory independent school, located in Crownsville, Maryland. Students in Pre-K3 through grade 12 receive a vibrant educational experience based on excellent academics steeped in strong student-teacher connections.
