Varsity Boys LAX Clinches B-Conference Spot on Senior Day

Varsity Boys Lacrosse Senior Day was enhanced Friday as the team clinched the #4 seed in the MIAA B Conference playoffs, with an 18-9 victory over Park School.

Junior Will Mercer scored eight goals, while sophomore Benny Carter registered six goals and five assists, picking up 15 groundballs all under a downpour on the turf. Freshman Nick Stroble added a pair of goals, and Dylan Harris '23 and Roddy House '22 each registered a goal. Daniel Eckroad '23 and Colin Abbott '21 controlled the face-off, combining to win 24 of 31 draws. The Eagles' defensive team, comprised of AJ DePaolis '22, Danny Swope '22, Austin Harrison '22, Levi Kline '21 and Cade Fanning '21 held the Park offense to three second-half goals. Freshman phenom goalie Ty Spencer made seven saves to help preserve the victory.
 
The Eagles will host the first B-Conference playoff game in ICS history, taking on the Park School this Friday  4:30 p.m. Go CREEK!
