Aiden Alexander '24 Wins Indian Creek Geo Bee

"The Bab el Mandeb, a strait between Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, connects the Gulf of Aden to what sea?"

Can you answer this final question from the Geo Bee?!? Indian Creek sixth through eighth grade social studies classes held classroom competitions in order to send a class representative to the ICS Geo Bee. On Monday, December 17, the 11 finalists competed to determine the Indian Creek Geo Bee Champion who will go on to represent ICS at the county competition later this month.  Seventh grade student Aiden Alexander earned this honor, with sixth grade student HaVi Albert earning the runner-up title.

Indian Creek fourth and fifth grade classes held their own competitions in order to prepare for upcoming years. Finalists included Izzy Sussman '226, Landen Medick-Crump '27, Rafferty Riggs '27, Mitchell Montgomery '27, and Champion Jett Castro '27. Congratulations to all of our Geo Bee stars!
