Indian Creek Hosts Middle School Cross Country Championships

Indian Creek School was proud to host the Chesapeake Co-Op Middle School Cross Country  Championship Meet on Wednesday, October 24. Our Eagles XC team enjoyed running on their home course, and had a successful end to their season!

Filled with pride at showcasing our home course, the Eagles Grades 6-8 XC team finished with many Personal Records (PRs). The team trained this season through rain, humidity, heat, snakes, mud, and hills.... a lot of hills! Each runner got stronger and faster over the season, resulting in a championhsip meet in which each athlete could take pride.

Congratulations to the following Eagles Runners for representing Indian Creek in the Championships: Jackson Bear '24, Palmer Bice '25, Reagan Bice '23,  Bennett Bucci '24, Grace Doerschner '24, Sam Favazza '25, Tommy Franklin '23, Tori Griffith '23, Hannah Morley '24, and Natalie Swope '24.

Thank you to all of the ICS Faculty and Staff members who came out to support the team and help welcome over 300 guests to our campus. As our Cross-Country team says, "Creek really does run deep!"
