World Lit I Class Breaks Masters the Research Process

In today's world, identifying appropriate and reliable sources of information is an important skill to learn. To this end, students in Ms. Engles' freshman World Lit I course spent today’s class breaking down research questions in order to better understand the research process. Students identified key words in each question, came up with synonyms for those words, and found potential (reliable) sources in the Library Catalog, the Library Databases, and on the Internet. This lesson is all part of collaborative planning and teaching between World Literature I and the Library in an attempt to make the research process approachable and easy for our 21st century students.
