Eagles XC Wins First Meet as Four Runners Score in Top 9
The ICS Varsity Boys Cross Country team traveled to Frederick, Maryland, to win their first MIAA C Conference meet of the year yesterday, finishing with a 2-0 record. Led by Senior Sam Favazza’s third place time of 19:47 (only 4 seconds off first place), ICS beat both St. John’s Catholic Prep and St. Vincent Pallotti by scores of 19-41 and 25-34, respectively. All five of ICS’s scoring runners (Favazza, DJ Ham '26, Domenic Craig '27, Liam Mixter '27, and Ryan Hunsicker '25) finished in the top 9. The Eagles host 2023 C Conference Champion Chapelgate Christian Academy, Jemicy High School, and Saints Peter & Paul High School next Wednesday. Creek runs deep!
