Educational Excellence on Full Display at 2024 Awards Ceremony

Indian Creek students' relentless pursuit of Educational Excellence was on full display at the 2024 Upper School Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, May 29.

The Upper School student and faculty body gathered in the Jack and Nancy Becker Center for the Performing Arts to celebrate a year of curiosity, inquiry, and achievement. The ceremony opened with Head of School Booth Kyle welcoming the audience and commending the ICS Class of 2024 for setting high standards of what the Creek experience should be. Associate Head of School Eliza McLaren reiterated Mr. Kyle's sentiments, sharing that this year has been a great one for the students and the school. After this, guest presenter Alexa Hunter of the United States Naval Academy recognized two ICS seniors, Beth Christie and Arnia Goode for their appointments to the academy.

The morning of accolades continued as Department Chairs each presented awards to outstanding students in their fields of study.  This year's awards were spread among many seniors, demonstrating the true core of the Class of 2024.
