DePaolis, Martin, and Mullaly Honored at Kiwanis Club Scholarship Ceremony

The Crofton Kiwanis Foundation is pleased to announce that three Indian Creek School seniors, Anthony DePaolis, Sarah Martin, and Havana Mullaly, have been awarded 2022 Kiwanis Club College Scholarships. The Kiwanis Club and Foundation of Crofton, MD, Inc. is a local community service and charitable organization with primary focus on helping children and families.  

The students were honored at a ceremony during the Crofton Kiwanis Club Annual Meeting at the Blue Dolphin Seafood Restaurant banquet room on Wednesday, May 11.  According to Crofton Kiwanis President Mike Pierre, these $1,000 scholarships for college tuition were awarded to high school senior class applicants who are members of a Crofton Kiwanis Club-sponsored Key Club.  he applicants were evaluated based on their academic achievements, high school programs involvement, Key Club leadership and projects participation, and charitable and community service. Key Club International is a youth service leadership program of Kiwanis International for high school students.
 
Anthony DePaolis was awarded the Dan Scholfield Crofton Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship to attend Towson University, in Towson, Maryland. Sarah Martin was awarded the William and Janet Hand Crofton Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship to attend Rutgers University, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Havana Mullaly was awarded the Bobbi Coffman Crofton Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship to attend Johns Hopkins University, in Baltimore, Maryland.
