Grant Hudson Named Head Boys Tennis Coach

Indian Creek School is pleased to announce that Grant Hudson has been named Head Boys Tennis Coach. 

Interim Director of Athletics Jason Werner announced this esteemed addition to the Eagles community, sharing that “Coach Hudson will bring an energy and a skillset that will serve all of our tennis athletes. His has played and coached at a high level, and he still finds joy working athletes who are new to the sport. We are excited to have him on board to lead our tennis program.” 

Coach Hudson graduated from Salisbury University with a degree in Physical Education and Health, playing collegiate tennis all four years and serving as team captain his senior year.  He then served for three years as an Assistant Tennis Coach at Salisbury University, while working as a Physical Education and Wellness teacher and Tennis coach at The Salisbury School. Hudson has held the roles of Student Athlete Mentor and Student Athlete Advisory Committee Representative.  Throughout his career he has coached high-level players including placeholders on the Men’s Tennis National Ranking board, conference rookies of the year for both men and women, and many singles and doubles NCAA qualifiers. 

He already become well-acquainted with the students of ICS this school year, serving as a substitute teacher. "I am extremely excited to be a part of such a great school with phenomenal students, faculty, and staff. There is an awesome atmosphere at Indian Creek and I am thrilled to work with such great student athletes and coaches. Go Eagles!"
