Senior Spotlight: Ella Fromherz
Ella Fromherz's teachers describe her as a diligent, self-aware student.
“Ella is always present and ready to work. She's able to giggle at herself, and has her own style, flair, and confidence,” shares her AP Calculus teacher Ruthie Shrum. Ella's English teacher Jimmy Monack agrees, sharing that Fromherz 'devours' his assignments. “I would call her an academic warrior princess,” said Monack. “She scrunches up her nose and then destroys any test or writing assignment I’ve ever given her.”
Ella came to Indian Creek in seventh grade, showing a particular affinity for math and history classes, and performing in solo choir and in multiple musical productions during her high school years. Next year, she will study psychology at Drexel University.
Ella describes how the connections she has made through her years at Indian Creek have shown her how important it is to be a part of a supportive environment. “There’s really a strong community feel, so it taught me how to be part of a community and appreciate people in my community.”
