Earlier today, Head of School Booth Kyle, Associate Head of School Eliza McLaren, and Head of Upper School Matt McCormick recorded a special "Creek Conversation: Weekend Edition" presentation to share some exciting updates from Indian Creek School.  Since last week's Creek Conversation was a College Admission Information Session for Class of 2021 families and next week's Creek Conversation will take the form of Back to School Nights on Wednesday and Thursday, the Administrative Team wanted to stay connected to families through this "special edition" video.

Mr. Kyle opened the conversation, sharing that several projects are evolving at ICS this week.  He gave an update on the Indoor Tennis Dome project in the Eagles Athletics Complex at the Upper School Campus. This significant development towards the School's campus unification project is in full motion, and is expected to be complete by the end of October.  The Eagle Dome will not only benefit the Eagles Athletic program, providing indoor practice space for Indian Creek Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis and other teams, but it will also provide other programs with extremely valuable space to spread out on campus. The dome could provide space for instruction, lunch, study halls, among many other possibilities. Mr. Kyle shared that more updates about the campus unification project will be shared in the coming weeks.

Next, Mr. Kyle, Ms. McLaren, and Mr. McCormick answered several frequently asked questions that have been submitted to the Ask ICS website form. Then Mr. McCormick provided an overview of the Upper School "Modified" Orange plan, which will provide more opportunities for on-campus instruction for Upper School students.  More details about this plan, including the updated schedule, will be emailed to families next week.
