Varsity Girls Soccer Team Makes Creek History

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Soccer team, who made Indian Creek history, playing in the IAAM Championship game on Sunday, November 3. These athletes left everything they had on the field, fighting back from a 4-1 deficit. The Eagles gave it their all up until the clock ran out, ending the game with a final score of 4-3. The girls finished second place in the IAAM C-Conference behind Garrison Forest School.

These girls have been dubbed Indian Creek's dream team: a group of girls who did not see a single win in the 2018 season, and lacked the number of players needed to field a solid team at the beginning of 2019. Throughout the fall, they played game after game with no subs, exhibiting great determination and practicing two hours a day, six days a week. This championship-caliber squad of underclassmen will all be back next year even stronger. Way to go Eagles!
