Kindergarten Students Teach Ozobots their Numbers

Indian Creek teachers understand the vast educational benefits of introducing coding to students even before they learn to read. Kindergarten capitalized on these skills this week, by using their programming skills to practice writing their numbers.  During math, the students "taught" the ozobots how to write numbers correctly by first writing the digits on the iPad, and then coding the ozobots to trace them. This exercise had the students visualize the numbers mentally, trace them with their fingers tactilely, and dissect each part of the written numerals through coding. Most importantly, they had a ton of fun!
