Third Grade Entertains with "The Bear Went Over the Mountain"

At the Lower School Assembly on Friday, April 26, the Indian Creek School Class of 2028 taught their friends and families a lesson that having a goal and reaching it are important, but the journey is paramount, as well as the friends you take with you along the way. For their class play, the third grade students performed a musical version of the book, The Bear Went Over The Mountain, by John Jacobson and John Higgins. Through this musical journey of friendship and adventure, our third grade woodland creatures helped their friend - a restless bear - see just what is lurking on the other side of the mountain. Through six fun songs, dances, acting, and even some instrumental parts, the third grade class entertained their audience and taught a valuable lesson as well.  Bravo to the third grade performers!
