Pre-Kindergarten Students Meet Rosie Revere and Friends

Indian Creek’s Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 classes observed today that with a little bit of creative problem solving, some teamwork, and great friendship, kids can do anything! The Classes of 2032 and 2033 enjoyed a performance of “Rosie Revere, Engineer, and Friends” a new STEAM-inspired musical from Theater Works, USA, at Goucher College in Baltimore this morning.  This fun, vibrant musical, created for young children is based on the books Rosie Revere, Engineer, Iggy Peck, Architect, and Ada Twist, Scientist, by Andrea Beaty and David Roberts. These stories each spotlight STEM curricula, focusing on science, technology, engineering and math. In the show, Ms. Greer's classroom includes three inquisitive out-of-the-box thinkers: Rosie Revere has big dreams. Iggy Peck has a relentless passion for architecture. And Ada Twist's curiosity can drive her teacher crazy. The antics of these beloved characters entertained our young students, and taught them about the value of working together to solve problems.
