Admission Screening for Pre-K4, Kindergarten, and First Grade Applicants

Lower School Campus
Early Childhood Screening for students entering PK4, K, and 1st Grades

For our young applicants, our Early Childhood Admission team administers a developmental readiness test geared towards three-, four-, and five-year-old children. During a screening session, children are welcomed into an early childhood classroom for a period of observed play with other children. After a student is comfortable, a teacher or administrator will work with the child one-on-one to administer play-based screening. This screening will assess a child’s language skills, numeric comprehension, fine and gross motor functions, and other skills to determine school readiness.

Admission Screening sessions for applicants to Pre-K4 through Grade 1 will be held on Saturday, February 1, from 9:00-10:15 a.m. and from 10:30-11:45 a.m.
