  • Counselor in Training (CIT) (Grades 9-11)

Ready to take your leadership skills to the next level? Join us for Counselor in Training (CIT) Camp, where teens will develop valuable skills, gain hands-on experience, and prepare for future roles as camp counselors! Designed for teens who may be too old for traditional camp offerings and too young to be hired full-time, this camp offers a unique opportunity to learn the responsibilities and joys of being a camp leader while having fun and forming life-long friendships.

Throughout the program, CITs will receive training in communication, team-building, conflict resolution, and child development. They’ll learn how to plan and lead activities, work with younger campers, and manage group dynamics. Along the way, CITs will also participate in workshops on safety, first aid, and team leadership to prepare them for the real-world challenges of working in a camp environment.

In addition to learning the ins and outs of being a counselor, CITs will have opportunities to shadow experienced camp counselors, assist with daily camp activities, and contribute to the overall camp experience. By the end of the camp, participants will leave with a certification in leadership and valuable experience that can help them land future roles as counselors or in other leadership positions.

Whether you’re looking to become a future camp counselor or simply want to grow your leadership abilities, CIT Camp is the perfect place to develop skills, gain experience, and take on new challenges while having an amazing time!
