New Beginnings Collision Center Owner Carrie Ferguson Motivates EMPOWER Students to Lead

EMPOWER welcomed guest speaker Carrie Ferguson, owner of New Beginnings Collision Center, on April 15, 2026, for a conversation focused on leadership, resilience, and entrepreneurship.

Drawing on a career that spans dental operations, real estate investing, and small business management, Ms. Ferguson shared how her diverse experiences shaped her approach to leadership and growth. Today, as the owner of New Beginnings Collision Center, Ms. Ferguson brings her entrepreneurial mindset to a traditionally male-dominated industry. She is committed to building strong teams, delivering exceptional customer service, and creating a positive impact within her community. She also collaborates with organizations that support women in the collision repair field, emphasizing the importance of networking and mutual empowerment.

During her time with EMPOWER students, Ms. Ferguson spoke candidly about the realities of business ownership, including balancing work and family life, managing a long-established company, and learning to confidently advocate for herself in challenging situations. She emphasized the importance of clear communication, accountability, and maintaining high expectations.

Ms. Ferguson’s message to students centered on practical advice: aim high, challenge expectations, and speak up for yourself. She encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs to start with small, realistic goals, stay true to their values, and remain focused on long-term growth. She also highlighted the importance of treating others with respect and building strong, supportive networks.

Her visit left EMPOWER members inspired with a message encouraging them that, in order to pursue their ambitions, success comes from confidence, persistence, and the willingness to take ownership of their future. Thank you to Ms. Ferguson for an inspiring visit!
