Masara Magassouba '28 Named to Capital Gazette 2025-26 Basketball All-County First Team

Masara Magassouba, Indian Creek, sophomore, guard

The guard took a leap in her second year in becoming a leader for the Eagles, averaging 16.5 points, 2.8 steals, 2.6 rebounds and two assists. She led Indian Creek back from double-digits to force overtime and ultimately beat the eventual IAAM B Conference champion Glenelg Country. The Eagles took first place in the IAAMM B-Conference.

Junior forward Ofundem Mbelem was named to the All-County second team, averaging 9.5 rebounds per game.  Senior forward Norah Young earned an honorable mention as the Swiss-army knife and defensive specialist for the Eagles.
