Basketball Recap: Indian Creek Beats Gerstell Academy for Their Sixth Straight Win
Indian Creek extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Kyle Harvin. It took a bit of extra time, but the Eagles secured a 53-49 victory against Gerstell Academy in overtime on Wednesday thanks in part to Harvin: he posted 21 points. Harvin's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.
Indian Creek's win bumped their record up to 13-14. As for Gerstell Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

Looking ahead, Indian Creek will be playing in front of their home fans against Severn School at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' defense better be ready for this one: the Admirals have averaged an impressive 60.1 points per game this season. As for Gerstell Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Chapelgate Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
