ICS Golf Secures Playoff Spot – Eagles Soar into the Semi-Finals!

Indian Creek School is proud to congratulate the Varsity Golf team for clinching their playoff berth with a decisive victory over Mt. Carmel on Wednesday, April 30. The Eagles remain undefeated this season with an impressive 6-0 record, earning the number one seed in the conference and a first-round bye in the playoffs.
This milestone reflects a true team effort, with contributions from across the roster.

Match winners who helped secure the victory over Mt. Carmel: Ethan Thomas ’25, Malaya Johnson ’28,
Joelle Johnson ’25, Jack Margerum ’27, Logan Richardson ’26, and Ben Grzeskiewicz ’26. Their combined focus, skill, and dedication have made this season one to remember.

A special spotlight shines on sisters Joelle Johnson ’25 and Malaya Johnson ’28, who teamed up during this week’s match. Joelle, a three-season undefeated Player #1, has consistently led the team and will continue her golf career next year at Division I Bucknell University. Malaya, in her debut season, has followed in her sister’s footsteps—undefeated and making significant contributions to the team’s success. Their shared moment on the course was a proud occasion for the entire Creek community.

With the playoffs ahead and a third championship in sight, we congratulate the entire ICS Golf Team and wish them continued success as they advance to the semi-finals. Go Eagles!
