Immigration Justice Network Brings Real-World Perspective to ICS

During this morning's Upper School assembly, Indian Creek ninth through twelfth grade students had the chance to take part in a thoughtful Q&A with Jessa Coulter from the Annapolis Immigration Justice Network. Ms. Coulter spoke about the immigration experience, sharing the reasons people around the world may choose to migrate and the legal challenges they often face when coming to the United States.

The event was planned and moderated by members of Creek's Spanish Honor Society. SHS officers asked questions that were both curious and caring. Their conversation helped classmates gain a deeper, more personal understanding of immigration through both a legal and humanitarian lens.

Thank you to Ms. Coulter for spending your morning at Indian Creek School.
