Carol Mercer
I joined Indian Creek School in 2009 after a career in advertising and marketing. Searching for a school for my own three children, I was drawn to ICS for its philosophy, vision, and mission. Now that my kids are graduating from college and entering their next phase of adulthood, I can look back and truly understand the impact the middle school years had on them, both academically, mentally, and socially.
In my 15 years at ICS, I have had the pleasure of working as the Upper School Admission Director, the Dean of Grades 7 & 8, and most recently as the Middle School Assistant Principal. I am excited to help guide out families and students through middle school, ultimately preparing them for the next step in their education. I am passionate about supporting students and I thrive on daily interactions with students to foster meaningful connections.
I am honored to lead, and be a part of, our Middle school team. We have established ourselves as experts in PBL, embraced our vision and mission statements, and supported our students throughout their middle school experience. My goal is to work with our strong academic team to continue our tradition of constantly evolving and reaching the next level of educational excellence.
