60 Minute Mentor session with Mika Cutler '20

Students can stop by the College Counseling Office to meet with Mika Cutler '20. Mika earned their B.S. in Cognitive/Behavioral Neuroscience with a minor in Biology from Loyola University Chicago. They graduated Cum Laude with departmental honors. Mika was awarded the most prestigious research fellowship within their department, and earned the honor of being the student speaker for their commencement ceremony. They now work at Northwestern University as a research technologist in a laboratory that studies the circuits that go awry in an epileptic brain. Mika is pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience and undertaking the Mongol Derby, a race across 1000km of the Mongolian steppe on the backs of 13 hand high, semi-wild Mongolian horses. They love reading contemporary fiction, making soup, and trying new bagel spots with their partner.
