National Signing Day Sees Indian Creek's Lily Swope '26 Commit to D1 U. of Cincinnati

Indian Creek Upper School students and faculty gathered this morning to celebrate senior Lily Swope, as she committed to the University of Cincinnati as a Division 1 Swimmer on D1 National Signing Day.

Lily is an accomplished swimmer who helped to pioneer the Eagles Swim program. She has had a record-setting career at the Creek, dominating in a way rarely achieved by athletes in any sport.

Lily won IAAM Conference Championship titles in the 100Fly and the 100 Back each three years in a row, and boasted an undefeated conference season in 2024-25. She is a three time All- Conference Selection and was 1st Team All-County in 2025. She holds the ICS records in the 50 Free, 100 Free, 100Fly, 100 Backstroke and the 200 IM.

Outside of Indian Creek, Lily has had an incredible club career as well. She is the current record holder for the GASL Gold Championship meet in the 50 Backstroke and 50 Fly. She has won numerous club swimming championships and events. She is currently ranked fourth in the state of Maryland for the Class of 2026. Lily enters the 2025-26 swim season as the presumptive favorite to repeat the championship wins in her events.

At Indian Creek, Lily also excels in the science lab as a member of the School's STEM program, on the fields as a member of the Varsity Girls Soccer team, and as a member of the National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, and National Art Honor Society.
