Alumni Spotlight: Peyton Frisby ’22 — Honored for Work with Indiana Pacers
When Indian Creek School alum Peyton Frisby ’22 received the Elevate Assist Award from Pacers Sports & Entertainment this June, it marked an extraordinary milestone early in her career. The honor—given to team members who go above and beyond—recognized Peyton’s exceptional work as a Corporate Partnerships Intern with both the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever.
“I never expected to win an award so early in my career,” Peyton said. “It was humbling and encouraging.”
For Peyton, a lifelong Indiana Fever fan, the internship itself was a dream come true. From day one, she immersed herself in the fast-paced world of professional sports, supporting everything from documenting corporate partner signage and coordinating community watch parties to helping activate sponsorships for one of the WNBA’s top franchises.
She also played a key role during some of the team’s biggest moments—welcoming sponsors and donors at postgame receptions during the Fever’s home Finals games, and coordinating brand activations across Indianapolis during WNBA All-Star Weekend, including hosting events at the Fever House.
Reflecting on her experience, Peyton shared deep gratitude for her mentors and teammates at Pacers Sports & Entertainment. “This internship gave me invaluable skills and showed me that the career I dreamed about as a little girl is possible,” she said.
Now a senior at St. John’s University, Peyton is an Ozanam Scholar majoring in Sports Management and Social Justice Theory. Her drive, humility, and passion for sports leadership continue to shine—qualities that make her a standout example of the Creek spirit.
The entire Indian Creek community celebrates Peyton’s achievements and looks forward to seeing how she continues to elevate the game, both on and off the court.
