What's Going on with Boys?!?
A Conversation with Educator David Panush

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m

We'll learn about what the latest trends and data are showing in terms of how boys are doing in education and in their mental health, including the latest on how boys are spending their time online. Spoiler alert: it may be worse than you think. We will also talk about what research has shown works best for teaching, supporting, and connecting with boys and provide some tools for helping boys find more balance and health in their online lives. Lastly, we’ll spend time discussing your concerns and questions. Our aim is for you to leave this evening with information, support, and resources.

David Panush is the Director of Innovative Learning and Technology at the Edmund Burke School, a progressive independent school in Washington, DC. Previously, he served as the Associate Academic Dean and the Head Coach of Cross Country and Track & Field. He is also the scheduler, a psychology teacher, an advisor, and a facilitator for the Burke Boys affinity group. David has presented and facilitated at numerous conferences, including the NAIS Annual Conference, the AIMS Boys Summit, and the ATLIS Annual Conference, and has been published in Independent School Magazine. Drawing on 28 years of experience, David has recently been focusing on the experiences of boys and how all our children can lead healthier digital lives.
