Main Decision-Making Data Point: COVID-19 at ICS	What is the COVID-19 status and general health status in the ICS community? Number of confirmed and presumed cases among students and faculty - A confirmed case is indicated by a positive test result, and a presumed case is an individual quarantined by the health department while awaiting test results due to a presumed positive. Number of “reds” issued by Magnus Health Screening App and data around student and teacher absenteeism	Indication of transmission on campus (connected cases) or too many teachers/students quarantined or absent to effectively run school.	To date: 8 total positive cases.* *A positive ICS case is defined as someone in our community who tested positive within 72 hours of having been on campus.
Main Decision-Making Data Point: Protocol adherence at ICS	How well is the ICS community adhering to our health and safety protocols? Compliance with mask wearing on campus, maintaining physical distance, hand/surface hygiene, Magnus app completion, and the community pledge	Poor community compliance with protocols	On campus compliance is very strong. There is a level of concern about out-of-school behavior, though school protocols significantly mitigate the likelihood of on-campus transmission.
Main Decision-Making Data Point: Government guidance	What guidance is the school receiving from Maryland governing organizations?	Quarantine or closure orders	The Anne Arundel County Department of Health has approved Indian Creek’s reopening plan. We are partnering closely with the Health Department in assisting contact tracing efforts as necessary.
Secondary Decision-Making Data Point: COVID-19 in other schools and childcare settings	Are schools and daycares in our region seeing active COVID-19 clusters? Secondary Decision-Making Data Point: Metrics we watch	Is COVID-19 spread increasing, decreasing, or stable in Anne Arundel County, Prince George’s County, and Maryland state? 14-day trends of average of cases per 100,000, testing positivity rate, and total hospitalizations	Steep increases indicative of unrestrained community spread combined with evidence of an increased risk of on-campus transmission	Current metrics high levels of COVID-19 in our county and state, though positivity rate and cases per 100,000 rates have stabilized from previous levels of growth.
