Grades 7-8 Before School
The Crownsville Campus building is open with adult supervision at 7:10 a.m. For the 2017-18 school year, there will be no charge for before care for 7-8 students. For the convenience of families who have students on both campuses, a shuttle will leave the Evergreen Campus around 8:15 a.m. and travel to the Crownsville Campus. Classes start at 8:45 a.m
Grades 7-8 After School Program
Indian Creek believes that it is an important role of the School to help students develop the life skills they will need to make good decisions throughout their lives.
Following the completion of the academic day at 3:30 p.m., all students have a 15 minute break before the start of athletic team practice, club, study hall, or other supervised activity. 7-8 students are encouraged to remain on campus until 4:45 p.m. They are also welcome to stay for unstructured, but supervised after school time.
Clubs will run after school from 3:45-4:45 p.m. Club offerings are age-appropriate and are adult/teacher supervised. Some Clubs are offered exclusive by grade(s) while others such as Model UN and Creek for Peace may span grades 7-12.
Students in grades 7-8 who are not participating in an athletic team practice or a club may remain on campus until 4:45 p.m. under the supervision of the Coordinator of the Seventh and Eighth Grade After School Program.
