Virtual Clubs

Staying Connected

Now more than ever, it is important for students to find ways to stay connected to each other in the Virtual Environment.  Indian Creek faculty members and coaches are working to continue clubs and other extra-curricular activities through Virtual School for students of all ages.

  • After School Activities (Grades 7-12)

    All Upper School students are enrolled in an After School Activities group (through Microsoft Teams). Please check out our Exercise, Health and Wellness Team page to access workouts from coaches, health tips and other activities.
  • Fourth Grade minecraft Club

    Fourth Grade students are invited to join Mr. Sprague online for some Minecraft Fun Friday afternoons from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Contact Mr. Sprague for details.
  • Gay Straight Alliance (Grades 7-12)

    The GSA has optional synchronous meetings on Wednesday afternoons at 3:30. If a student is interested in joining the group, they should contact Ms. Derry at
  • Lunchtime in the Library (Grades 7-12)

    Upper School Librarian, Ms. Ashley Fetterolf, invites all students to join her for a series of "Luchtime in the Library" meetings to hang out, chat, work on puzzles, and more, through Microsoft Teams. Vist the Upper School Library page on Teams to join in every day, Monday through Friday, from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m..
  • Minecraft Club (Grades 7-12)

    Upper School Minecraft club advisor Stephen Roth has created an Indian Creek team through the Minecraft for Education Edition of the game to enable his club members play together, but apart.

    The group is able to all play in the same world about 6 of us, while communicating through a Teams meeting in real time. The ICS Virtual Minecraft Club is available to all Upper School students who would like to join. The club meets several nights a week after 9:00 p.m. and typically plays for about an hour. The club's 19 members of varying experience levels have had several sessions together since the start of Virtual School, and have had a great time!   • Music Jam Session

    Instrumental Music students from grades 4-6 are invited to log in and join Mrs. Sweterlitsch for a jam session every Wednesday from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m.!  Students are welcome to come and play or just hang out and listen to their friends. Link provided in class newsletter.
