Second Grade Engineers Undertake STEM GingerBuilding Challenge

The Class of 2029 enjoyed a delicious day of seasonal hands-on science, as they undertook the second grade Gingerbread Building Challenge. This project is a classic STEM activity, in which students were given a challenge: to Engineer a Self-Standing Gingerbread House. Teams of second grade cooperative groups were then tasked with planning, building, analyzing, and graphing their subsequent creations. This event kicked off the holidays for our budding engineers.
