Independence Hall! National Constitution Center! Jim's Cheesesteaks! The Class of 2024 enjoyed their trip to Philadelphia, PA, on Friday, November 30, where their studies of American History came to life.

Seventh grade students are deeply entrenched in a two year study of American History. This year, they have looked into how stories from different perspectives become facts and how facts become history. This lesson has come through studying colonial history including the American Revolution and the creation of the United States of America. The Class of 2024 was thrilled to visit Philadelphia, PA, where many of the events they have learned about actually took place. The students visited Independence Hall, where they got to see the Liberty Bell, and Constitution Center, a museum entirely devoted to the American Constitution. A highlight of this museum was Signers' Hall, where students got to w
alk among 42 life-sized bronze statues of the Founding Fathers. At this museum, the seventh grade students enjoyed "Hamilton Trivia" among other fun activities. And of course, no visit to the City of Brotherly Love would be complete without enjoying the iconic cheesesteak sandwiches! A fun lunch at Jim's Cheesesteaks culminated the Class of 2024's Philadelphia experience!
