CREEK Lower School Boys Team Wins First Game in Overtime

CONGRATULATIONS to our Eagles Lower School Boys Basketball team for winning their first game of the season in overtime!  The second and third grade boys played hard for the entire game and showed great resilience, coming back to tie the game after being down by six points in the second half.  This exciting game went into a two minute overtime, until second grade student Taylor Keuleman scored the winning basket. This win was due to excellent play from everyone on the team, including excellent ball handling and scoring from Ronan Marcus and Taylor Keuleman '29, key steals from second graders Thomas MacKenzie and Aiden Giomundo, good rebounds from third graders Liam Cool, Sean Murrell and Isaac Waesche, and great passing by Reid Qualey '28. Coach Cool made some quality time-outs to slow his team down and get control of the ball at the end of the game. Ronan and Taylor lead the team in scoring and Sean scored the first basket of the season. As Liam Cool, the only returning player from last years team shared, "The team is really excited and likes basketball a lot". Way to go, boys - Have a great season!
