Seniors Anchor Cross Country Squad at McDaniel College Meet
The Eagles Cross Country Team wrapped their 2018 campaign with a rigorous meet on McDaniel College's cross country course. This was a brand new course for the MIAA and our CREEK runners rose to the challenges of the steep inclines and fast fairways of the McDaniel golf course.
Indian Creek was paced by seniors Liam Lonergan (18:59) and Owen Pease (20:45) in a race that included all three three subdivisions of the MIAA. Thanks to a heavy invitational schedule in September, Creek's runners were well equipped to handle the challenges of a crowded start line and congested turns on the course. This meet marked the first time that the Eagles ran a full slate of seniors as their varsity seven in a championship. Congratulations to our seniors Adam Bizri, Daniel Garland, Ted Ginsburg, Jonathan Levy, Liam Lonergan, Ryan Oberteuffer, and Owen Pease, who have given four years and many miles to our program.
