Indian Creek's "Lost in Yonkers" Not to Be Missed Next Weekend!

If you are looking to laugh and be astounded at the accomplishments of Indian Creek's grades 9-12 actors at the same time, you need to attend their production of Neil Simon’s Lost in Yonkers next weekend.

"Lost In Yonkers, perhaps the finest family play ever, uses humor and richly developed characters to demonstrate the power of family especially as it becomes a survival place for all to learn to become tough enough to survive." (Tom Williams, Chicago Critic)  This memory play will take you back to 1942 as a unique Jewish family struggles to find their way in Yonkers and with each other as America tries to make its way through WWII. Coming of age as an independent person covers more than just the boys. This heartfelt, humorous, nostalgic drama will capture you from the start and keeps you engaged throughout. You will laugh; you might cry; you will definitely admire the acting chops of the Creekers on stage.

From Friday, November 9, through Sunday, November 11, you’ll have three chances to see our incredible show.  On Friday, November 9, there’s even a second show – a tribute to Neil Simon by our TOPICS troupe – and dinner coupled with opening night.  If that’s too much of “Broadway’s Master of Comedy” in one night, then we invite you to attend Saturday at 7:00 p.m. or Sunday at 3:00 p.m.  See you there!
