Anne Arundel County Fire Department Teaches Lower School Students Fire Safety

It’s Fire Prevention month! Special thanks to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department for visiting Indian Creek to teach Lower School students about Fire Safety. Anne Arundel County Fire Lieutenant Erik Kornmeyer led an assembly on safety and fire prevention, and even brought coloring books, crayons, stickers, pencils and hats for the children. Station 6 from Herald Harbor did the Friendly Firefighter program with All Pre-K and K students as an extension of the assembly. Students enjoyed meeting the firefighters, getting to see and touch the equipment, and visiting a real fire truck!
