Lower School Elects 2018-19 Student Government Officers

On Friday, September 21, 12 confident, poised, and passionate Lower School students culminated several weeks of campaigning by making speeches to their peers and teachers about their ideas on how to make this school year wonderful. Students shared ideas such as special snack days, social events, fundraisers for local charities, and extra privileges.  After listening attentively to the speeches, students in grades 4-6 voted to elect their 2018-19 Student Government Association (SGA) Officers. "This year's candidates should all be proud of themselves," shared SGA Advisor Erika Strickland. "It takes a lot of courage to get up and make a speech in front of your classmates. Every single one of these kids did a great job. If these are the future leaders of America, I feel really good."

Congratulations to the 2018-19 Lower School SGA Officers!
