ICS Girls on the Run Complete 5K in Baltimore

Congratulations to the ICS Girls on the Run team, for participating in their first 5K of the season last Saturday, May 5, at Druid Hill Park in Baltimore. Third grade runners January, Bella, Finley, Taylor, Malia, and Genesis ran the race, supporting each other and cheering each other on as they crossed the finish line with their running buddies! The girls are enjoying their 10-week season, which involves training as well as character and team building activities. This year’s team was mentored by fourth grade students Marina and Sophia, who have participated in past years. The group will also undertake a community service project this season to benefit the Annapolis SPCA. Coach Watson and Coach DeBuse are so proud of their hard work and dedication to this program!
