Eagles Tennis Extends Win Streak to 13-0 with Victory Over John Carroll

The Eagles Tennis Team continued their winning streak to 13-0 on Thursday, April 5, as they pulled out a 4-1 win over John Carroll. Juniors Jared Albert and Ford Smith overcame their opponents 6-0/6-0. Albert completely out steadied his opponent with heavy topspin and well timed net rushing. Sam Anderson '19 fought a great battle, cruising in the first set, falling in the second set, then coming pack to play some big points late in the tiebreaker, finally clinching it 10-7. Ben Stolarczyk '20 and Kyle Huey '21 lost a close one 3-4. Carter Mullin '19 and Sam Tator '20 put the hammer down 7-5,6-1. Freshman Luke Smith pulled out a 6-3 set win for his first Varsity match Victory. Go Eagles!
