Let the Games Begin! First Grade Holds Coding Olympics Opening Ceremonies

The Indian Creek School First Grade Coding Olympics started today, as the Class of 2029 held their Opening Ceremonies. In pairs, the children researched countries participating in the Olympics and filmed features about their nations in front of the green screen. Next, they built a torch 'cauldron' with "make do" cardboard construction kit, and created a snap circuit flame. Finally, they drew the olympic rings and programmed an Ozobot robot to carry each country's flag in the parade. Stay tuned for updates about our Coding Olympic events!
